Objects
The objects are what I think of as a record of moments. Someone once said that I “make objects that appear to have been found ready-made and the objects you find appear to have been made by you.”
When making this kind of work, I collect stuff, store it, and categorize it until I have enough to begin making things. The objects become interrelated in that one object often leads to the making of the next one. And because of this, they become a record of time as well as ephemeral in nature.
